ADI provides inclusive educational support to children in underserved communities to strengthen learning retention, improve academic outcomes, and promote holistic development. Through structured classroom learning, regular parental and guardian engagement meetings, and co-curricular activities such as sports and cultural programs, the initiative creates a supportive learning environment both at school and at home. By actively involving families and nurturing children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth, the program helps ensure sustained participation in education and builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Since 2013, ADI has been implementing the Children’s School Program using its own revenue budget to ensure student retention and provide quality education to young learners. The program focuses on both academic learning and holistic development, fostering well-rounded growth among children in underserved communities.

Class Structure and Schedule

• Each class comprises 20–25 students, ranging from pre-primary to Grade 2.

• Classes are conducted daily in the afternoon, for two hours, excluding Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays.

• The schedule is designed to accommodate the convenience and availability of students.


Current Reach

• 17 schools are currently operating under the program:

o 12 schools in Magura and Amoria areas (Magura Zone)

o Schools in Chandpur and Chandina areas (Cumilla Zone)

• A total of 342 students is actively receiving education.


Staffing and Teacher Development

• 17 teachers and 2 education supervisors are employed to manage the schools and ensure quality delivery.

• All teachers undergo specialized training in teaching methodologies tailored for the program’s curriculum and child-centered learning approach.


Holistic Education Approach

In addition to core academics, the program emphasizes:

  • Moral and ethical education
  • Awareness-building on social and educational topics
  • Cultural engagement through activities such as dance, music, drama, and poetry
  • Inspirational learning through discussions on notable figures and life lessons

This approach ensures students develop both intellectually and socially, preparing them to become confident, responsible individuals.

Future Goals

  • Establish children’s education centers across all areas of Magura and Cumilla zones to assist cihldren of underprivilleged families stay motivated to persue education.
  • Provide merit-based stipends and cultural opportunities to students
  • Facilitate admissions support for outstanding students to access higher education

Through these initiatives, ADI aims to expand access to quality education, nurture talent, and create opportunities for holistic child development in rural communities.
